Development is progressing well on qore 0.8.0 (svn trunk). This release will feature hard typing, function and method overloading, default arguments, public class members, and more. These features will provide many benefits to Qore programmers, including being able to develop larger and more complicated programs faster because many more programming errors can be found at parse time, and additionally qore will provide faster code execution due to the many optimizations made possible by hard typing.
